Data models are graphical depictions of the data components and relationships within a company. Models aid in the creation of efficient information systems by providing guidance on how to describe and organize data within the framework of pertinent business activities.   The organization of data items in an information system is determined by a data model. It may have a relational or non-relational model as its foundation. Users can create, read, update, and remove data from databases by using a database management system (DBMS) as an interface. Data can be altered or extracted by users and other programs thanks to database management systems (DBMS), which also control the database engine and database schema.
